Old Bridge Township Raceway Park, Englishtown, NJ - Raceway park has always played host to some of the best sport compact racing events within the United States. I was recently asked a pretty ironic question. One of the members from the Nyce1s.com web forum asked me if I remembered the 1st sport compact event that I had ever went to? They asked me this question about a week before this year's Summer Slam event at Englishtown's Raceway Park. Summer Slam is the 1st sport compact racing event that I ever witnessed. That event actually marked the 1st time I ever witnessed any type of quarter mile drag racing at a track in my entire life. Needless to say that I have been hooked ever since. Summer Slam has always been a major part of tuner culture on the northeast. This event has become one that racers, spectators and car show participants have come to love over the years. Nyce1s.com was able to catch all the action at the 13th Annual GMPT Summer Slam drag race and car show event.
